Biography of the Tollywood and Telugu Actress Priyamani


Priyamani is a south indian actress she won the prestigious national film award for best actress
for her successful role "Muthazaghu" in film Paruthiveeran. She started her career with the film Kangalai Kaithu Sei, which was a flop at the box-office. Afterwards, she was paired with Dhanush in Balu Mahendra's Adhu Oru Kana Kaalam, which flopped at the box-office as well.



Priyamani born on June 4th 1984 in Palakkad in Kerala is a former fashion model and a wonderful actress who won accolades and honors for her performances in several movies.

Priyamani was born to Vasudeva Mani Iyer and his wife Latha Mani Iyer. Priyamani has a brother named Vishak Dev Mani. Priyamani grew up in Bangalore and was a hyperactive student in her school.

Priyamani prior to her movie debut has modeled for Lakshmi silks, Kancheepuram silks, and Erode silks. Soon after completing her 12th standard Priyamani through her modeling photo shoots attracted the attention of the industry people including ace director Bharathiraja.

The dusky actress Priyamani was the find of legendary director Bharathiraja, who gave Priyamani her break in movies with "Kangalal Kaithu Sei". Though the movie did not fare well at the box office, her histrionic talents received wide acclaim. Priyamani later made her debut in Malayalam with "Satyam" and her debut in Tollywood was marked with "Evare Atagaadu".






After all her initial hiccups at the box office ended; the doe-eyed dusky beauty Priyamani picked up the strings of successes and went on to act in over 10 movies in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The dusky belle Priyamani is awaiting the release of three of her movies - two in Tamil and one in Telugu.
